Doris Griner, 95, of Nashville died Sunday June 21, 2026, at her residence.

She was born on February 12, 1931, in Berrien County to the late Willie Hendley and the late Lottie Roberts Hendley. She was a homemaker, a member of Nashville First Baptist Church and loved helping to care for her grandchildren. She was the widow of Walter Gaskins and Lyman Griner and was also preceded in death by 8 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her 3 daughters: Deborah Ann Brewer of Atlanta, Cynthia (Michael) Cooney of Jacksonville, FL and Pam (David) McMillan of Nashville; son: Bruce (Judy) Bailey of Valdosta; 7 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters: Hilda Jean Faulkner of Nashville and Carolyn Barber of Hahira; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Keffer officiating. Visitation will be held in the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Gaskins Cemetery.
