Obituary

Doris Guthrie, 87, of Nashville died Wednesday July 8, 2020 at her daughters residence.

She was born December 28, 1932 in Berrien County to the late Rossie Lee Richardson and the late Flora Jane Boyd.  She was a homemaker and former sales clerk for B. C. Moore and Dorminey's Department Stores.  She was a member of Cross Creek Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husbands: James H. Warren, Jr., the father of her children; Leon Hall and Rev. Warner Guthrie.  She was also preceded in death by a brother: Felton Richardson; two sisters: Elizabeth Richardson and Gladys Harper.

She is survived by two daughters: Mary Jane Adams and Teresa (Jeff) Quillen both of Nashville; son: Buck (Brenda) Warren of Nashville; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and expecting 2 more.

Funeral services will be held Saturday  July 11, 2020 at  3 pm in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Swain officiating. Interment will follow in Poplar Springs Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
