Doris Jean Samples, 63, of Nashville, died Saturday, March 1, 2025, at her residence.

She was born June 24, 1961, in Clinch County to the late Bill Monk and the late Dorothy Mae Watson Monk. For years, she was a machinist at Adel Metal Products, she loved her family, enjoyed drawing and was a very involved and active member of the Nashville Church of God. She was preceded in death by a daughter: Shanna Samples Lewis and a brother: Irie Monk.

She is survived by her husband: Ronnie Samples of Nashville; sister: Wanda Fannon of Nashville; granddaughter: Ansley Lewis of Nashville and a son-in-law: Andy Lewis of Nashville.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at 4 PM in the Nashville Church of God with the Rev. Scott Walker and the Rev. Steven Norris officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Nashville Church of God.
