Doris Willene Smith, 90, of Nashville died Monday May 6, 2019 in the Berrien Nursing Center.

She was born January 8, 1929 in Berrien County to the late Willie Wiley Hendley and the late Iva Lee Holton.  She was a homemaker and of the United Methodist faith.  She was preceded in death by 2 daughters: Eileen Tooley and Cheryl Ann Soares; son: Gregory Dean "Greg" Smith.

She is survived by a daughter: Sandra Jean Holbert of Belpre, OH; three sons: Richard Alan "Buddy" Gaskins, Curtis Avery Smith both of Nashville and Billy Jack Gaskins, Jr. of Commerce;  numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday May 9, 2019 at 11 am in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Walker officiating.  Interment will follow in Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
