Doris Faye Connell Tomlinson, 77, of Nashville died Sunday April 5, 2020 at the Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia.

She was born May 15, 1942 in Berrien County to the late Homer Connell and the late Lenora Giddens Connell.  She was an office manager for medical doctors, member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church and the widow of Albert Lee "Al" Tomlinson who died in 2010.

She is survived by her sister: Carolyn (P.H.) Danforth of West Berrien; three brothers: Rev. Jackie Connell of Tifton, Jeston (Fay) Connell of West Berrien and Jason (Evonne) Connell of Tifton; step son: Jacob Owens of Hahira.

A private graveside service will be held Tuesday April 7, 2020 in Pleasant Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Jackie Connell and the Rev. Michael Bennett officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church or GA Sheriff's Boys Ranch.
