Edna Mae Harrell, 91, of Nashville, died Wednesday July 20, 2022 at her residence.
She was born October 22, 1930 in Berrien County to the late Roy Ray and the late Willie Mae Griffin Ray. She was a homemaker, worked at Nashville Textile and Sears for many years. She was a member of the Ray City United Methodist Church and a faithful member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary for over 50 years. She was the widow of Roy L. Harrell who died in 1993 and was also preceded in death by a daughter: Joyce Roberts; son: Donald Harrell; sister: Betty Knox; brother: Roy Ray; grandson-in-law: Marcus Tucker; 2 nieces: Betty Ann McMillan and Tracie Ray; nephew: Cliff Knox.
She is survived by her grandson: Donnie Harrell of Nashville; granddaughter: Tammie Tucker of Broxton; son-in-law: Allen Roberts; daughter-in-law: Polly Harrell; 2 great granddaughters: Lorin Tucker and Erin Tucker; 2 great grandsons: Colton Harrell and Briley Harrell; dear friend: Gail Danforth; sister-in-law: Penny C. Ray; nephew: Mark (Misty) Ray; 2 nieces: Mae (Larry) Watson and Ramonda Glock; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday July 26, 2022 at 4 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday one hour prior to the service. Memorials can be made to the V.F.W. Auxiliary.
