Obituary

Edna "Dot" Moore, 101, of Lakeland passed away Tuesday June 18, 2013 at Fellowship Home in Valdosta.

She was born February 10, 1912 in Naylor, GA to the late Charlie Seth Hotchkiss and the late Pearlie Sinterfiet Hotchkiss. She was a homemaker, had been associated with Miller Hardware as a bookkeeper, former Postmistress in Lakeland and retired from Patten Seed Company. She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church where she served as Sunday School Secretary for 20 years. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Woodmen of the World Widows Club, and The Red Hat Ladies. She also did volunteer work for a number of years for Red Cross Blood Drive and a member of the Pink Ladies. She is the widow of Benjamin Franklin "Frank" Moore and was preceded in death by a daughter, Jackie Olson.

Funeral services will be held Friday June 21, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Good Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Archie Anderson officiating. Interment will be in Good Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to The Good Hope Baptist Church
