Edward Beauren Jacobs, Jr, of Nashville, died Thursday July 12, 2012 in Tift Regional Medical Center.
He was born November 4, 1938 in Berrien County to the late Edward Beauren Jacobs and the late Eunice Grantham. He was a retired farmer and member of the Glory United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife: Carolyn Stephens Jacobs who died in 1995, grandson: Brandon Jacobs, sister: Wydene Giddens, and a step son: Danny Watkins.
He is survived by his wife: Pat Jacobs of Nashville; 3 daughters: Freida Hall of Tifton, Teresa Stoner of Alapaha, and Cindy Willis of Alapaha; 2 sons: Floyd Jacobs of Alapaha and Michael Jacobs of Willacoochee; 3 sisters: Wylene Hughes of Longwood, Fl, Geraldine Phillips of Longwood, Fl, and Barbara Brogdon of Valdosta; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; step daughter: Cretia LeBlanc of Tifton; 2 step sons: Stoney Watkins of Spartanburg, SC, and Philip Watkins of Vernon, Al; 11 step grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday July 15, 2012 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in the Glory Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday from 5 to 7 PM.
