Edward Lloyd, 79, of Nashville died Thursday September 3, 2009 at his residence.

He is survived by his wife: Virginia Gary Lloyd of Nashville; son: David Lloyd of Somersham, England; granddaughter: Abhie Lloyd of Ipswich, England; 2 step daughters: Sonya (Ray) Brockman of Valdosta, Georgia (Tim) Oropeza of Valdosta; 2 step sons: Danny (Jean) Sly of Ray City, Jeffrey (Jill) Sly of Ray City, 9 step grandchildren, 2 special nieces: Lily and Winiford of England; his closest friend: Cecil Marshall of Manchester, England.

Funeral services will be held Saturday September 12, 2009 at 1 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Stone officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday September 12 from 11 am until the hour of services.
