Edward Houston Stallings, 96, of St. Cloud, FL died Saturday October 28, 2017.
He was born April 27, 1921 in Covington County, AL to the late Roman Stallings and the late Durie Hitson Stallings. He was a retired barber and a veteran of WWII. He was the widower of Evelyn Forte Stallings and Fannie Jeanette Taylor Stallings. He was also preceded in death by a son: Bob Stallings; 5 brothers: J.W. Stallings, James Stallings, Everett Stallings and Charles Stallings; and 3 sisters: Ella Meaders, Ruth Agee, and Barbara Ann Stallings.
He is survived by his son: Bill (Sandie) Stallings of Orlando, FL; daughter-in-law: Shirley Stallings; sister: Katrina Browne of Orlando, FL; 2 grandchildren: Steven and Anje; 2 great grandchildren: Amber and Erika; and 1 great-great grandchild: Rylee.
Graveside funeral service will be held Friday November 3, 2017 at 2 PM in Westview Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Bennett officiating. Visitation will be Friday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
