Edwin Dupree. 92, of Nashville, died Thursday, May 21, 2026, at SGMC Berrien Campus.

He was born April 20, 1934, in Atkinson County to the late Huey Lafayette Dupree and the late Fannie Lewis Dupree. He was a retired tech sergeant in the United States Air Force with 23 years of service in aviation electronics, was a Vietnam veteran and a member of the Nashville Church of God. He was preceded in death by his wife: Betty Keen Dupree who died in 2024; 2 daughters: Pam Lombard and Tammy Gortesi; 2 sons: Terry Dupree and Edwin Dupree, Jr; 3 sisters Doris Whitley, Thelma Hood and Evelyn Westberry.

He is survived by his son: Donald Dupree of Atlanta; 2 sisters: Ruth Bennett of Nashville and Elzia Young of Nashville; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 11 AM in the Westview cemetery with full military honors. Visitation is in the cemetery thirty minutes prior to the service. Memorials are requested to the Humane Society or the Betty Dupree Health Care Center.
