Elina Ann Holmes, 22, of Alapaha, died Tuesday November 19, 2013 at her residence after a lengthy disease known as Metachromatic Leukodystrophy. Miss Holmes was born April 29, 1991 in Clinch County to Patty Ann Powers and Elden Holmes. She was preceded in death by her sister: Gracie Louise Holmes who died in 2011.

She is survived by her mother and step father: Patty and Brooks Bailey of Alapaha; father: Elden Holmes of Adel; sister: Bridgett (Donny) Cersey of Nashville; step brother: Dixon Bailey of Nashville; paternal grandmother: Virginia Holmes; maternal step grandparents: K.P. and Gail Pleasant of Alapaha.

Funeral services will be held Thursday November 21, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mickey Lindsey officiating. Interment will follow in the Flat Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday one hour prior to the service.
