Elizabeth Mary Shewchuk, 103, of Nashville, died Sunday December 8, 2024 in the Berrien Nursing Center.

She was born May 30, 1921 in Springfield, MA to the late John J. Gokey and the late Christina M. Tallon. She was a small business owner, pet groomer and sold exotic fish. She was the widow of Theodore Shewchuk and was also preceded in death by a daughter: Linda Gamache; son: John Borofsky.

She is survived by a daughter: Sandra (Gerald) King of Nashville; 4 grandchildren: Daniel Borofsky of Springfield, MA, Carl Borofsky of Bradenton, FL, Cheryl King of Baton Rouge, LA and Susan Moore of Knoxville, TN.

Her family will honor request for cremation and her cremains will be buried in the St. Jerome cemetery in Holyoke, MA.
