Ellie Roslyn Davis, 97, of Nashville, died Wednesday April 19, 2023 at the Fellowship Home in Nashville.

She was born June 8, 1925 in Abbeville, AL to the late Ousley Lester and the late Mary Yates Lester. She was a homemaker, retired office manager for Texgas Corp, and a member of the Nashville Methodist Church. She was the widow of Robert M. "Bob" Davis who died in 1996 and was also preceded in death by a brother: Thomas Lester; 3 sisters: Betty Lester Peek Cawthorn, Jackie Lester Bently and Jean Lester Moore.

She is survived by a daughter: Jackie (Jerry) Holland of Alapaha; 2 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday April 29, 2023 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Addington officiating. Interment will follow in the Fletcher cemetery. Visitation is Saturday in the funeral home one hour prior to the service .  Memorials are requested to The Nashville United Methodist Church General Fund. Memorials can be mailed to P.O.
