Ellie Luke, 73, of Nashville died Tuesday March 14, 2017 at her residence.
She was born December 24, 1943 in Cook County to the late Henry Washington Barber and the late Annie Greene Barber. She was a homemaker and of the Primitive Baptist Faith.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years: Olan Luke of Nashville; 3 daughters: Cindy (Bo) Cole of Nashville, Lanette (Ren) Estes of Tifton, and Melissa (Jay) Evans of Nashville; 2 sons: Michael (Pam) Luke of Alapaha and Eric (Stacey) Luke of Nashville; 9 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday March 17, 2017 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Elder John Phillips and Rev. Danny Ray officiating. Interment will follow in Oakey Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 6-8 PM. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Bethany Hospice.
