Elma Lee Taylor, 99, of Nashville, died Friday July 22, 2016 in the Berrien Nursing Center.
She was born April 27, 1917 in Berrien County to the late Thomas Morgan Rowan and the late Rosa Lee Hall Rowan. She was a homemaker and attended the Nashville Mission. She was the widow of Eddie Earl Taylor who died in 1993. She was also preceded in death by 4 sisters: Lucille Boatwright, Cleo Kent, Ethel Faulkner and Lois Rowan; 3 brothers: W.B. "Dub" Rowan, Ralph Rowan and Julius Rowan.
She is survived by her daughter: Carol Taylor of Louisville, GA; 3 brothers: Earnest Rowan of Jacksonville, FL, Bobby Rowan of Mobile, AL and Jackie Rowan of Valdosta; sister: Betty Padgett of Columbus.
Funeral services will be held Sunday July 24, 2016 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Bennett officiating. Visitation 30 minutes prior to the service. Interment will follow in Beulah Church Cemetery.
