Obituary

Elva Kent Shaw, 92, of Williamson, formerly of Nashville, died Saturday January 30, 2021 at her residence.

She was born January 3, 1929 in Berrien County to the late Lossie Allen Kent and the late Pauline Sirmons Kent. She was a homemaker and retired seamstress with Nashville Textile. She was a member of the Nashville First Baptist Church and was the widow of James Thomas "Tom" Shaw who died in 2003. She was also preceded in death by 2 sisters: Gail Folsom and Jackie Futch; 2 brothers: Wendell Kent and Gene Kent.

She is survived by 4 daughters: Babs (Joe) Thomas of Sylvester, Nancy (Randy) Anthony of Fitzgerald, Stephanie (Michael) McMillan of Forsyth and Rea (Jim) Sims of Williamson; sister: Shirley McCoy of Rincon; 14 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday February 3, 2021 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Rick Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday one hour prior to the services.
