Emma Jean Hendley's Obituary
Emma Jean Hendley, 73, of Nashville died Sunday December 22, 2013 in Life Care Center in Fitzgerald.
She was born December 14, 1940 in Berrien County to the late Haywood McMillan and the late Lillie Exum. She was a homemaker, worked at Singletary 5 Points Grocery, and was a member of Flat Creek Church. She was the widow of John Rudolph Hendley and was also preceded in death by a sister: Katie Gunter; brother: Kenneth McMillan.
She is survived by a daughter: Donna (Vinson) Harper of Nashville; a son: John Russell (Linda) Hendley of Abbeville; one brother: E.D. "Mac" McMillan of Nashville; granddaughter: Lanah Hendley of Abbeville.
Funeral services will be held Monday December 23, 2013 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. R.T. Castleberry officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 9 AM until hour of the service. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to the church or charity of choice.
