Obituary

Emolois Hendley Rowe, 90, of Nashville (Riverside Community) died Friday November 3, 2017 in the Berrien Nursing Center.

She was born March 15, 1927 in Berrien County to the late Rev. James Hendley and the late Mabel Griner Hendley. She was a homemaker and operated Riverside Store for 30 years. She was a member of Riverside Missionary Baptist Church and the widow of Eston Rowe to whom was married for 59 1/2 years. She was also preceded in death by a brother, James David Hendley and a sister, Maggie Hodges.

She is survived by her daughter: LaQuietta (Wendell) Purvis of Nashville; 3 sons: Earl (Linda) Rowe of Valdosta, Johnnie (Charlotte) Rowe of Augusta and Ronnie (Ronda) Rowe of Sweetwater, TN; 6 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday November 6, 2017 at 11 AM in the Riverside Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. J.W. Dukes III, Rev. Jimmy Futch and the Rev.Kevin Stone officiating.Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 6 to 8 PM. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
