Erma Nell Griner, 86, of Nashville, died Sunday August 13, 2023 at Harborview in Tifton.

She was born February 17, 1937 in Berrien County to the late George Nedham Grimes and the late Mozelle Hancock Grimes. She was a homemaker and for many years worked at Griner Feed Store. She was a member of Vickers Church and was known as "Mama Nell". She was preceded in death by 2 brothers: George Grimes and Jimmy Gray.

She is survived by her husband: Ronald Griner of Nashville; daughter: Traci (Lamar) Joyce of Nashville; son: Ronnie Griner of Nashville; 4 grandchildren: Jessica (Jess) Booth of Homerville, Joshua (Lianna) Joyce of Alapaha; Jared Joyce of Nashville and Shey Griner of Nashville; 5 great grandchildren: Ryleigh, Kinleigh, Lane, Emma and Jay L; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday August 17, 2023 at 11 AM in Vickers Church with the Rev. Ronnie Lawson and Rev. Freddie Stone officiating. Interment will follow in the Vickers cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home. Her family wants to sincerely thank the staff of Harborview for their years of love and care.
