Ernestine Exum, 77, of Brookfield died Thursday October 30, 2014 at her residence.
She was born August 28, 1937 in Colquitt County to the late Ernest Hall and the late Lilly Conger Hall. She was a homemaker, retired restaurant worker with Wink Rogers and a member of Hope Baptist Church. She was widow of Paul Exum, who died in 2003. She was also preceded in death by: 3 sons: Ronald Exum, Vernon Exum, and Talmadge Exum; a sister and 3 brothers.
She is a survived by: 3 daughters: Sarah (Tommy) Sumner of Brookfield, Carolyn Verenakis of Brookfield, and Linda Browning of Valdosta; son: James (Donna) Exum of Hahira; 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Geneva Singletary of Valdosta and Martha (Donnie) Kirkland of Nichols; 2 brothers: Lester (Jean) Hall of Douglas and Billy (Elizabeth) Hall of Lakeland.
Funeral services will be held Sunday November 2, 2014 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Sumner officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 5 to 7 PM.
