Eve Mullis' Obituary
Evetta Evean "Eve" Mullis, 64, of Nashville died Saturday December 9, 2017 in Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.
She was born April 5, 1953 in New Point Arkansas to the late Richard Ivan Bright and the late Goldie Freeman Bright. She was retired from the U.S. Air Force and a retired clerk with the U.S. Postal Service. She was a member of the International Apostolic House of Prayer. She was a very loving mother and grandmother with a huge heart for others. She was preceded in death by her husband: Leroy Griffin who died in 2014.
She is survived by a daughter: Cynthia Mullis Griffin of Nashville; son: Jason (Holley) Mullis of Commerce; 2 sisters: Janet Rose of Fayetteville, NC and Wanda Ware of Nashville; brother: Raymond Bright of Byron; 8 grandchildren, a step granddaughter, 2 step grandsons and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday December 16, 2017 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Bruce Langley officiating. Interment will follow in Nashville Memorial Gardens with full military honors. Visitation is Friday 6-8 PM.
