Evelyn Baldree, 78, of Nashville, died Thursday April 16, 2026, at her residence.

She was born September 8, 1947, in Berrien County to the late Red Rutherford and the late Annie Irene Jones Rutherford. She was a homemaker, retired medical administrator with the Neurology and Spine Center in Valdosta and attended Flat Creek Church. She was the widow of James Leroy Baldree who died in 2001 and was also preceded in death by 2 brothers: Jimmy Rutherford and Billy Rutherford; grandson: Kevin Baldree.

She is survived by a daughter: Donna (James) Vickers of Reidsville; 2 sons: Larry (Angela) Baldree of Nashville and Mark (Michele) Baldree of Ray City; 9 grandchildren: Angela (Steven) Allen, Kaci Lott, Annabelle Baldree, Dustin (Heather) Baldree, Brandon Baldree, Mikayla Baldree, Eric (Carrie) Vickers, Clay (Amber) Vickers and Amber (Matt) Rogers; numerous great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Marie Hughes of Nashville and Virginia Rutherford of Nashville; 2 brothers: June Rutherford of Crawfordville and James Rutherford of Nashville.

The family will honor her request for cremation. A memorial service will be held Friday, April 24, 2026, at 4 PM in Flat Creek Church with Rev. Mark Swain and Rev. Mike Bennett officiating. Visitation is in the church one hour prior to the service.
