Ruth Evelyn Riner, 85, of Alapaha, died Monday December 21, 2020 at her residence.

She was born May 30, 1935 in Berrien County to the late Claude Brogdon and the late Ethel Mobley Brogdon. She was a homemaker who loved her family and spending time in her yard. She was a member of Springhill Primitive Baptist Church and was the widow of Alvin Howard Riner who died in 2010.

She is survived by her son: Hugh (Jo) Riner of Atlantic Beach, FL

A graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday December 23, 2020 at 2 PM in the Springhill Cemetery with the Elder Paul Thomas and the Elder Harold Roberts officiating.  Visitation will be held in the Springhill Primitive Baptist Church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Springhill Primitive Baptist Church or Hospice of Tiftarea.
