Evon Gaskins Waldrop, 73, of Foley, AL. passed away Monday February 7, 2022 at the South Baldwin Medial Center in Foley, AL.

She was born December 8, 1948 in Hahira, GA to late Doris Vickers Tison and the late Walter J. Gaskins.  She was the widow of Wayne Waldrop.

She is survived by 2 siblings:  Ronnie Gaskins and Tonya Pankonin; daughters: Stephanie Smith Peak and Laura Smith Broach both of Atlanta; 3 grandchildren:  Martha Watkins of Atlanta, Jack Preston of Auburn and Lucy Preston of Atlanta.

Evon enjoyed watching the sunsets over the lake, the ocean and the bay and collecting items that she treasured.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at the Gaskins Cemetery in Berrien County with her family in attendance.
