Obituary

Farries Taylor Griffin, 75 of Nashville died Wednesday January 6, 2010 at her residence. She was the widow of W.C. (Bill) Griffin who died in 1965. She was also a member of the Nashville First Baptist Church and the Radiant Sunday School Class.

She is survived by 2 daughters: Judy and Larry Griner of Oxford, Lou and Wesley Parker of Nashville; son: Billy and Margaret Griffin of Lake City, Fl; brother: Elwood Taylor of Nashville, 5 grandchildren: Larry (Chrystal)Griner of Covington, Rebecca Griffin of Gainesville, Fl, Will (Lyndsey) Griffin of Alapaha, Jennifer (Greg) Block of Nashville; 3 great grandchildren: Chase Parker and special friend Jodee Tidwell of Nashville, Abigail and Emily Griffin of Alapaha, and Preston Griner of Covington. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Cleo Benefield, Jeanette Warren, and Elnita Dukes, and 2 brothers: Floy Taylor and Coy Taylor. Memorials are requested to the Nashville First Baptist Church Building Fund.

Funeral services will be held Saturday January 9, 2010 at 11 AM in the Nashville First Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Springhill Cemetery in Irwin County. Visitation is Friday after 3 PM with the family receiving friends from 7 to 9 PM
