Faye Wheat Gantt, age 63 of Tifton, formerly of Cook Co., died Monday July 19 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Murrell and Eva Lou Hogan Wheat.

Survivors include her husband, George W. Gantt of Tifton; sister, Kim Wheat of Lenox; step children, David (Beckie) Gantt, Paula (Johnny Mack) Carter, Denise (Bill) Fuqua and Rhonda (John) Boatwright; sister-in-law, Mary Alice (Lloyd) Hughs; 11 step grandchildren and 10 step great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral service will be held Thursday July 22 at 10 AM in the Sparks City cemetery. Rev. Elbert Cox and Mr. Brian Gay will officiate.

There will be no formal visitation.
