Faye Nix Sirmans' Obituary
Faye Nix Sirmans, 81, of Nashville, died Tuesday July 19, 2016 in South Georgia Medical Center.
She was born August 3, 1934 in Berrien County to the late Clifton Nix and the late Flora Mathis Nix. She was a retired nurses aide with Berrien Nursing Center, member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and member of Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church. She was the widow of Shelley Sirmans who died in 1991.
She is survived by her daughter: Pam (Richard) Rhodes of Conyers; 2 grandchildren: Sally Rhodes of Lawrenceville and Huey Rhodes of Albany; 2 sisters: Hilda Studstill of Lakeland and Laverne Boyett of Bay Manette, AL.
Funeral services will be held Thursday July 21, 2016 at 11 AM in the Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. J.W. Dukes III officiating. Interment will follow in the Poplar Springs Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM.
