Florence Hughes, 77, of Nashville died Sunday October 25, 2015 in Langdale Hospice House.
She was born July 16, 1938 in Axson, GA to the late Alfred Davis and the late Laura Darley Davis. She was a homemaker, retired food service worker from the Berrien County Board of Education and a member of Trinity Holiness Church. She was the widow of Lloyd Nettles who died in 1965.
She is survived by a daughter: Sue (Danny) Crosby of Valdosta; 2 sons: Wendell Nettles and Ronald Nettles both of Nashville; 2 grandchildren: Karen Taylor and Leah Hill; 8 great grandchildren; 1 brother: Carl Davis of Douglas; 2 step children: Morris Nettles and Shirley Thomas; 5 step grandchildren; special family friends: Dan & Christy Osborne, Lorie, Megan, and Carrie Ann; Rod & Betsy Moore. George, Jackson, and Cecilia.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday October 28, 2015 at 2:30 PM in Trinity Holiness Church with the Rev. Freddie Stone, Rev. Hershel Smith, and the Rev.Vernon Hughes officiating. Interment will follow in Tanner Cemetery in Coffee County. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 7-9 PM.
