Florie Hesters' Obituary
Florie Hesters, 92, of Nashville, died Friday February 27, 2015 in the Berrien Nursing Center.
She was born February 27, 1923 in Berrien County to the late George M. Griffin and the late Rebecca Webb Griffin. She was a homemaker and attended the Nashville Mission. She was preceded in death by her husband: Rev. Fred Hesters; son: Terry Hesters; daughter and son-in-law: Daphyne and Darrel Walker.
She is survived by her daughter: Gwen (Larry) Griner of Alapaha; son: Ray (Marilyn) Hesters of Nashville; 8 grandchildren: Keith Walker, Rodney Walker, Tracey Hesters Huyck, Kim Morrissey, Michelle Hesters Green, Kristi Johnson Godwin, Rana Roe Solomon and Dana Roe Lupo; 14 great grandchildren; brother: Mitchell Griffin of Sylvester; 2 sisters: Doris Jernigan of Leesburg and Mellie Ushery of Louisiana.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 3, 2015 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmie Hinson officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. Visitation is Monday from 7 to 9 PM.
