Obituary

Flossie Alma Watson, 98, of Ray City, died Sunday September 4, 2011 in the Berrien Nursing Center.

She was born February 16, 1913 in Berrien County to the late W.F. Frank Nix and the late Minnie Vickery. She was a homemaker and a member of the Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church. She was the widow of William Curtis Watson and was also preceded in death by 2 sons: Willie Frank Watson and J.E. Watson.

She is survived by 2 daughters: Doris Summerlin of Starke, Fl and Theresa Reardon of Leesburg; son: Russell Watson of Hampton, Fl; 2 daughters-in-law: Carolyn Watson of Ray City and Joan Watson of Graham, Fl; 15 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 16 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday September 9, 2011 at 11 AM in the Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. J.W. Dukes III and Rev. Bill Watson officiating. Interment will follow in the Poplar Springs cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 6 to 8 PM.
