Mary Frances "Fran" Placzkowski, 75, of Madison, FL, died Wednesday February 14, 2024 at the home of her daughter in Nashville.

She was born July 22, 1948 in Lowndes County to the late Bennie Franklin Peacock and the late Mary Brogdon Peacock. She was a retired restaurant manager, working for the Best Western King of the Road for years and Pirate's Bluff restaurant in Valdosta. She was a small, yet very feisty lady who loved her family, dancing, fishing and was always so supportive to everyone she knew. She was preceded in death by a son: Gerald Wayne Bennett and a granddaughter: Jade Brady.

She is survived by her husband: Don Placzkowski of Madison, FL; 3 daughters: Vicki Anderson of Adel, Selena (Ricky) Brady of Nashville and Donna Placzkowski of Madison, FL; 4 sons: Michael R. Bennett of Adel, Robert E. Placzkowski of Madison, FL, Kenneth Michael Placzkowski of Jacksonville, FL and Walter Placzkowski of Fernandina Beach, FL; 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday February 16, 2024 at 7 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Scott King officiating. Visitation is Friday one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
