Franklin A. Darley, 84, of Snellville, died Thursday June 9, 2022 at Piedmont Eastside Hospital in Snellville.

He was born December 29, 1937 in Atkinson County to the late Andrew Jackson Darley and the late Viola Sikes Darley. He was a retired field superintendent with Bigelow-Liptak Corporation working with oil refineries all over the world. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Minnie Mansil and Nora Wall; 2 brothers: Marvin Darley and Bryant Darley; 2 grandchildren: Kye Jones and Albert Franklin "Albie" Shively.

He is survived by 3 daughters: Teresa (Keith) Lewis of Nashville, Alisha (Al) Brogdon of Nashville and Carolyn (Rick) Slater of Sparks; son: Chuck Darley of Willacoochee; brother: Herman Darley of Baton Rouge, LA; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; special caregiver: Moreina Jerez of Lawrenceville; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday June 14, 2022 at 10 AM in the Willacoochee City Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Taft officiating. Visitation will be held in the cemetery thirty minutes prior to the service.
