Freddy Gaskins, 55, of Nashville, died Sunday March 11, 2018 in South Georgia Medical Center.

He was born August 29, 1962 in Cook County to the late Jimmy Key Gaskins and the late Lizzie Mullis Gaskins. He was a retired machinist at Nashville Mills, of the Baptist faith and was an avid outdoorsman.

He is survived by his wife: Sylvia Ann Skinner Gaskins of Nashville; daughter: Deanna (Scott) Dowd of Westport, WA; 2 sons: Adam (Jessica) Gaskins of Waycross and Justin Gaskins of Nashville; 2 grandchildren: Aiden Dowd and Ryan Dowd; brother: Steve (Darlene) Gaskins of Valdosta; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Elder Robert and Edwinna Skinner of Lakeland.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday March 14, 2018 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Swain officiating. Interment will follow in the Arabia Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from noon until hour of services.
