Freeman D. "Buddy" Bostic, 68, of Nashville died Tuesday July 12, 2011 in the South Georgia Medical Center.
He was born September 21, 1942 in Berrien County to the late Dewitt Bostic and the late Mary Green. He retired from Chaparral Boats as director of manufacturing. He attended the Ray City First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Linda Faye Bostic who died on June 26, 2011 and was also preceded in death by the father who raised him: Doc Exum.
He is survived by 3 daughters: Laura (Joe) Adams of Nashville, Tina (Alan) Bennett of Lakeland, and Lana (Neal) Sinclair of Nashville; 3 sisters: Annette (Larry) Baker of Nashville, Julie (Steve) Moyer of New York, Deborah (Bernie) Drobnicki of New York; 2 brothers: James (Linda) Exum of Morven and Tim (Lana) Bostic of Washington State; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday July 15, 2011 at 11 AM in the Ray City First Baptist Church with the Rev. Robbie Peay, Rev. Mickey Lindsey, and the Rev. John Evans Patten officiating. Interment will follow in the Beaver Dam Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 6 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
