Frieda Lee Kern,69, of Nashville, died Tuesday, February 10,2026, at her residence.

She was born June 8, 1956, in Orlando, FL to the late Harles Hansford McCallister and the late Clemma Blakenship McCallister. She worked at the Dairy Queen for many years and enjoyed meeting so many people. Before moving to Nashville, she worked as a medical transcription for several offices in Florida. She loved to read, watch movies, sew, attended The Bridge Church and served in the United States Army. She was preceded in death by a sister: Suzie Napier; 3 brothers: Mack McCallister, Charles McCallister and Stanley McCallister.

She is survived her daughter: Brianne (Jaison) Milliones of Nashville; son: Ashton Williams of San Antonio, TX; step daughter: Tracy (Terrell) Reed of Gate City, VA; 13 grandchildren: Natalee, Liliana, Dylan, Steven, Adam, Mark, Donette, Makinzey, Gabby, Wyatt, Allison, Lex and Ty; 3 sisters: Linda Fountain of Sorrento, FL, Patty Le of Tavares, FL, Sheila DuBose of Florida, Nita Dover of Lake City, FL; brother: Phillip McCallister of Florida; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Robby Rowe officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
