Gail Willene Morris, 70, of Nashville, died Wednesday July 31, 2013 at her residence.

She was born May 30, 1943 in Lowndes County to the late William Sewell and the late Verna Godwin. She was a homemaker and had been employed with Haslem and McCranie Dentist in Adel as a Dental Assistant. She was a member of Abundant Life Church in Nashville.

She is survived by her husband: Melvin Morris of Nashville; 2 daughters: Margaret (Robert) Valenza of Chesapeake, VA and Michele (Ray) Garner of Nashville; 2 sons: Roho Morris of Nashville and Mark (Donna) Morris of Nashville; 5 sisters: Sara Hendrix of Valdosta, Billie Ann Suddeth of Marietta, Laverne Prosser of Scranton , SC, Jannace Vaughn of Nashville, and Betty Sue Pilon of Valdosta; 4 brothers: Errol Sewell of Flagler Beach, FL, Ashley Sewell of Nashville, Gilbert Sewell of Glasgow, KY and Harry Sewell of Valdosta; 11 grandchildren: Lauren (Mike) Cornwell, Meagan (Chase) Brown, Austin (McKenzie) Garner, Ran Hall, Skyler (Emily) Morris, Hannah Morris, Kristin Morris, Catie Garner, Mary Beth Garner, Alexandra Morris, and Sam Morris; 4 great grandchildren: Brock, Eleyna, Rylee, and Davis.

Funeral services will be held Friday August 2, 2013 at 11 AM in the Abundant Life Church with the Rev. Raymond Cason and Rev. Sean Suggs officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Thursday at Abundant Life Church from 7 to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Abundant Life Church Children's Ministry.
