Gary Moore Bostick,78, of Carabelle, Fl died Monday March 5, 2012 in St. James Care Center.
He was born on October 10, 1933, in Liberty, SC, a son of the late Mary Moore Bostick and Joseph Oregon Bostick. The family moved to Augusta, GA, when he was in elementary school. He graduated from The Academy of Richmond County in Augusta, GA, in 1950. In 1952, he graduated from the Junior College of Augusta, and in 1954, he received a BA degree from The University of South Carolina. He graduated from Appalachian State Teacher's College with a M.Ed and pursued his doctorate degree there, also, while teaching at the college.
He is survived by his sister, Carolyn Bostick Griner, a niece, a nephew, and 3 great nieces and 2 great nephews. Gary will be buried in Augusta on Friday March 9,2012 at 12 PM by his parents and his brother, Joseph Bostick, Jr. Lovein Funeral Home of Nashville, GA is in charge of services.
