Gary Dean Knowles' Obituary
Gary Dean Knowles, 53, of Alapaha died Wednesday September 27, 2017 at Tift Regional Medical Center.
He was born February 22, 1964 in Irwin County to the late Allen Knowles and the late Dorothy Ann Stanford. He was employed with Flash Foods as a customer service representative, attended Hope Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Navy. He was also preceded in death by his step father: Arthur Stanford; and his step mother: JoAnn Knowles.
He is survived by 2 sisters: Dianne Stone of Nashville and Lisa Jones of Lakeland; brother: Richard Knowles of Nashville; step brother: Wayne Stanford of Bristol, VA; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday September 30, 2017 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Richard McNair officiating. Interment will follow in Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Friday 6-8 PM.
