George Albritton Clanton, 72, of Nashville, died Tuesday February 16, 2021 at his residence.

He was born August 31, 1948 in Berrien County to the late George Albritton Clanton and the late Mary Louise Webb Clanton. He was a retired heavy equipment operator with Wright Contractors, a welder with Glasstream boats and served in the US Army. He was preceded in death by his wife: Janice Victoria Knight Clanton; 2 daughters: Cindy Stone and Susie Ford Brady.

He is survived by his son: Britt (Angela) Clanton of Nashville; 5 grandchildren: Zach Stone, Jesse Ford, Luke Brady, Britini (Ashley) Music and Savannah (Shaw) Vickers; 3 great grandchildren: Ashton Stone, Bowen Stone and Liam Music.

Funeral services will be held Friday February 19, 2021 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Poole officiating. Interment will follow in the Long Bridge Cemetery. Visitation is Friday one hour prior to the services.
