Gerald Wayne Cribb, 62, of Ray City died Tuesday February 11, 2020 in Langdale Hospice House surrounded by his loving family.

He was born June 29, 1957 in Lowndes County to the late William Dempsey Cribb and the late Emma Jane Thompson Cribb Hurst.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ray City and a veteran of the U. S. Army.  He was preceded in death by a grandson: Dawson Cribb; two brothers: William Gary Thompson and Elmer "Shorty" Cribb.  The family would like to give a special thanks to Pruitt Health Lakehaven Staff , SGMC and Langdale Hospice House.

He is survived by three sons: Jerry Wayne (Shawna) Cribb of Nashville, Marcus (Sandy) Cribb of Lakeland and Justin (Jessica) Smith of Ray City; three sisters: Gail (Woody) Trowell of Ray City, Teresa Rice of Valdosta and Karen (Phil) Herndon of Hahira;; brother: Jamie Cribb of Panama City, FL; seven grandchildren: Austin Cribb, Ansley Cribb, Mikayla Cooper, Colby Smith, Mason Cribb, Emilee Smith and Sidney Griffin; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday February 13, 2020 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Williams officiating.  Interment will follow in Beaver Dam Cemetery.  Visitation is Wednesday 6-8 PM.
