Geraldine Fackler, 75, of Nashville, died Thursday March 20, 2014 at her residence.

She was born October 21, 1938 in Berrien County to the late Shelly Powell and the late Edna Morris. She was a homemaker and for many years worked with Headstart serving as a foster grandparent to many. She was a member of New Fellowship Church.

She is survived by her husband: John R. "Bob" Fackler of Nashville; daughter: Robin (Rodney) Hancock of Nashville; 2 sons: Robert (Betty) Fackler of Nashville and Michael Fackler of Nashville; sister: Jeannine Mathis of Nashville; 2 brothers: Ronnie Powell of Union, MS and Wayne Powell of Colorado; 7 grandchildren: Duane, Bryan, Kyra, Leigh, Alexis, Shelley, and Slade; 4 great grandchildren.

The family will honor her request for cremation. A memorial service will be held Friday March 21, 2014 at 6 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence. Luke officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers please make memorials to the church or charity of your choosing.
