Obituary

Gladys Bertha Lowe, 85, of Alapaha died Thursday February 13, 2020 at South Georgia Medical Center.

She was born March 8, 1934 in Coffee County to the late Quincy Brown Griner and the late Katie Bell Shiver.  She was a retired LPN with Raulerson Memorial Hospital in Florida and was a member of Hebron Baptist Church.  She was the widow of Leonard Aaron Lowe who died in 1985; she was also preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

She is survived by a daughter: Gladys Lisa (Mike) Jacobs of Alapaha; son: Donald Wayne Lowe of Fort Pierce, FL; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; two sisters: Bertha Smith of Willacoochee and Emma Lottie Griner of Fort Lauderdale, FL; three brothers: Jerry Griner of Willacoochee, John Griner of Fort Pierce, FL and James Griner of Willacoochee.

Funeral services will be held Sunday February 16, 2020 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Joaquin Torres officiating.   Interment will follow in Willacoochee Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Saturday from 5 to 7 PM.
