Obituary

Gladys MacDonald, 84, of Nashville died Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at SGMC in Valdosta.

She was born August 28, 1940, in Berrien County to the late Walt Taylor and the late Bertha Solomon Taylor. She was a homemaker and a member of Nashville Nazarene Church. She loved her family, strong in her faith and always willing to help in anyone in need. She was the widow of Alexander Ian MacDonald who died in 2010. She was also preceded in death by a daughter: Pat Perez; 2 sisters: Helen Luke and Marleen Mintz; 3 brothers: J.W. Taylor, Edward Taylor and Hayward Taylor.

She is survived by 5 daughters: Denise (John) Woods of Ocilla, Sonya (Buddy) Revels of Ocilla, Margaret MacDonald of Pittsburgh, PA, Sheila (Jute) Wilson of Milner and Ina (Ronnie) Bradford of Naylor; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 4, 2025, at 4 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Mr. Keith Stone officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
