Gladys Partin, 98, of Nashville died Monday May 18, 2020 in Tift Regional Medical Center.

She was born May 13, 1922 in Berrien County to the late Clayton Jones and the late Livey Tyson Jones.  She was a homemaker and a retired secretary with the former J. H. Harvey Co. after 45 years of service. She was a member of the Nashville United Methodist Church where she sang in the church choir for many years.  She was the widow of Carver Partin who died in 1966. She was also preceded in death by 4 sisters: Ida Courson, Agnes Bennett, Edith Brogdon and Idel Jones; 6 brothers: Felton, Clayton, Eston, Coolidge, Eddie and Jerry Jones.

She is survived by a daughter: Patsy Partin of Jacksonville, FL; two sons: Ricky (Jean) Partin of Macon and Rusty (Kay) Partin of Nashville; five grandchildren: Ranse (Christie) Partin of Atlanta, Rhett (Audra) Partin of LaGrange, Kristi (John) Stofer of Marietta, Kayla (Lyle) Hendley of Nashville and Kari Partin of Nashville; twelve great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Thursday May 21, 2020 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Stan Stalvey officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery.  Visitation is one hour prior to the service. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing guidelines will be in place.
