Glenda Stone's Obituary
Glenda Stone, 67, of Nashville, died Friday February 15, 2013 at her residence.
She was born December 18, 1945 in Coffee County to the late Ruben Stanton Moore and the late Emma Purvis. She was employed with the Berrien Nursing Center as a CNA and was a member of Vickers Church. She was the widow of Thomas A. Stone who died in 1993.
She is survived by her daughter: Tina (Bennie Joe) Gray of Nashville; 4 sons: Glenn (Tammy) Stone of Ray City, Ricky (Crissy) Stone of Nashville, Steve (Rosa Lee) Stone of Nashville, and Heith (Donna) Stone of Tifton; 4 sisters: Cheryl Tackett of Stamping Ground, KY, Merlene Carter of Douglas, Barbara Meeks of Florence, SC, and Juanita Lane of Hoboken; brother: Jimmy Moore of Douglas; 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday February 18, 2013 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Lawson officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 7 to 9 PM.
