Glenda Stone, 69, of Nashville, died Tuesday November 23, 2021, at her residence.

She was born September 15, 1952 in Thomas County to the late James Howard Bryan and the late Elaine Johnson Bryan. She worked as a security guard at Glasstream Boats and was a caregiver for years. She was the widow of Jim Stone who died in 2012 and was also preceded in death by a sister: Landa Barrott; brother: Steve Bryan; granddaughter: Ashley Brogdon.

She is survived by her daughter: Karen Morey of Ray City; 2 sons: Dewayne Morey of Nashville and Jimmy Stone of Nashville; sister: Marsha Layton of Meigs; 2 brothers: Robbie Bryan of Meigs and Timmy Bryan of Meigs; 2 grandsons: Cody Luke and C.J. Roberts; 2 great grandchildren: Keaden Luke and Clova Luke.

Funeral services will be held Saturday November 27, 2021 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. R.T. Castleberry officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Saturday one hour prior to the service.
