Obituary

Glenn Lamar Franklin, 70, of Nashville, died Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at his residence.

He was born October 2, 1954, in Berrien County to the late Vernon Franklin and the late Betty Ruth Rogers Cook. He was a mechanic and owner of Franklin Automotives for years. He loved to drive fast, drag racing was his passion, shooting pool and loved his family. He was a member of the Nashville Church of Nazarene and was preceded in death by his wife: Vickie Lynn Ledford Franklin who died in 1992 and a sister: Pat O'Steen.

He is survived by a daughter: Joey (Mike) Harlow of Nashville; son: Jason Franklin of Nashville; 2 sisters: Debra Cornelius of Nashville and Kay Franklin of Nashville; brother: Hank (Sheryl) Franklin of Nashville; 7 grandchildren: Joshua Browning, Jarrett Browning, Landen Browning, Cason Harlow, Tate Franklin, Ledger Franklin and Cohan Franklin; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Mr. Keith Stone officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview cemetery. Visitation is Saturday one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
