Glyn Dora "Glyn" Bailey, 87, of Nashville, died Tuesday February 11, 2020 in the Berrien Nursing Center.

She was born on February 11, 1933 in Cook County to the late Clem Taylor and the late Retha Irene Connell Taylor. On May 28, 1952; which was a hot, Wednesday night she married Andrew Paul Bailey in Douglas, GA. In September of 1952, Paul and Glyn moved to Winter Park, Florida where they lived for 44 years. While living in Florida, Glyn worked for the Winn Dixie Company and retired after 42 years. In June of 1996 they moved back to their hometown of Nashville, GA and lived out the remainder of their lives. She enjoyed the retirement life, quilting and visiting with family and friends. She was the widow of Andrew Paul Bailey who died in June of 2000. She was also preceded in death by 3 sisters: Jettie Johnson, Mildred Oliveleen McCorvey and Brenda Rowland; 3 brothers: Lamar Taylor, Claude Taylor and Bobby Jerry Mize. Though Glyn may be gone, she will never be forgotten. She will always live on in the hearts of those who truly love her and she will be greatly missed.

She is survived by 2 sisters: Weida May of Nashville and Elaine Stone of Nashville; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday February 14, 2020 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Miller and Mr. Jerry Mize officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Friday one hour prior to the service.
