Grace "Pete" Sutton Lindsey, 91, of Nashville died Tuesday June 11, 2019 in the Berrien Nursing Center.

She was born January 23, 1928 in Berrien County to the late Jerry Sutton and the late Julia Parr Sutton.  She was a seamstress, baby sitter and excellent cook.  She was a member of Flat Creek Church and the widow of Amos Lindsey who died in 1999.  She was also preceded in death by 2 sons: Wayne Lindsey and Buddy Lindsey;  sister: Carrie Lee Rowan; and 3 brothers: Woodrow, W. G. and J.P. Sutton.

She is survived by her daughter: Debby (Jackie) Rowan of Nashville; 5 grandchildren: Steve Lindsey, Rusty Lindsey, Shannon Lindsey, Shawn (Laura) Lindsey and John Mitchell Rowan all of Nashville; 7 great grandchildren: Sage, Michael, Ali, Ami, Meagan, Kirstin, and Beau; great-great granddaughter: Alden; sister-in-law: Letha Sutton of Nashville; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday June 14, 2019 at 2 PM in Flat Creek Church with the Rev. Mark Swain and Rev. Clarence Luke officiating.  Interment will follow in Flat Creek Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
